The wound is the place where the Light enters you.
-Rumi

With me, you’ll have a therapist who listens, helps you see things in a different way, and helps you find the willingness to practice or experiment with curiosity.

Whatever obstacles and struggles someone may be going through in life, I consider it a privilege and an honor to help my clients navigate them. I understand that the clients I see are entrusting me to give them effective resources to guide them down a new path, with a new perspective, so they can achieve their own goals. With a healthy balance of listening, guiding, and learning, I strive to help people improve their quality of life and ability to function.

Whether you, or someone you know is struggling or simply wanting or needing a different outlook on their life, it’s something that can be worked on together, and by setting up a consultation with me, we can get started with discussing a potential new treatment path for you and/or your loved one(s).

Starting therapy can be daunting: finding that motivation and momentum to initiate the first steps and then to continue those first steps can feel like some of the most painful steps of any journey. I applaud you for being here and considering these first steps. I will do my best to make them as easy as possible to navigate. Life is hard enough, therapy is here to help, not make it harder and while things might feel harder during moments in therapy, that is to be expected and is normal, it won’t remain that way. As we approach something we’ve been avoiding or try out something new, intense emotions and thoughts can surge and make things feel harder to navigate and, please remember, you won’t be navigating them alone.

As a therapist, my role is to guide you as you take steps towards positive life changes, healing, and growing towards a healthy mind, life, relationship with yourself, and relationship with others. Together we’ll work to uncover and better understand life’s challenges and day-to-day stressors that detract from your life and focus, and begin identifying and practicing things that will make you stronger.

I consider all my clients to be more than just another name, or an appointment. Therapy is meant to be a completely individual experience, and I treat it as such, with deep compassion and absolutely no judgment. Not only do I want to provide support and encouragement for each of my clients, but it’s my goal to offer them practical resources that they can put into practice immediately in their lives. I used both modern approaches and tried and true methods to fit each client’s individual needs with understanding, no matter who they are, or their particular walk of life. Everyone can achieve more personal growth and strength, and it’s an honor to work on that together.
